Greedy giants, turbulent love adventures, demons and heroes… In the year of its 10th anniversary, the MAS presented exciting and moving stories from Antwerp. Together with writer and theater maker Dimitri Leue, the museum performed the collection pieces in a compelling listening play.
In 2021, the museum celebrated its collection with a colorful, special exhibition. You delved into myths, legends and stories with an auditory experience that made you look at the collection differently. Iconic characters such as Brabo, Hodja, Lange Wapper, the Swan Knight or Chamunda played the leading role in moving and funny texts by Dimitri Leue. The stories took you through an imaginative and theatrical setting.
In this exhibition you chose how you walked and which stories you listened to. You took an audio guide to hand, pricked up your ears and shut yourself off from the outside world for a while. Kameleonie, our main character, told you her stories.
You could choose to hear the story and the accompanying song, or just listen to the song. The stories were suitable for children aged 8 and over. Want to sing along and dance along to the songs? There’s no age on that!
Was on display at the MAS from 30.10.2021 to 15.08.2023
